The hawk will never… go hungry?
On Saturday, April 18, we were fortunate enough to attend St. Joe’s 2nd Annual “A Taste of Hawk Hill“ event. As an exhibitor, we showcased River Horse Brewing Company’s Belgian Double Wit and Tripel Horse while promoting our “BBQ at the Ballpark” event on June 20. While a number of large (chain) restaurants were well represented, it was great to see local favorites like Jack’s Firehouse and The Pierogie Kitchen shelling out plates of delicious samples. In fact, these two establishments provided my favorite dishes of the evening. Jack’s bar-b-qued pulled pork and Pierogie’s stuffed pepper soup were both fantastic - and made me wish I hadn’t filled up on so many other freebies.
