  • About Us

Rolling Barrel crafts experiences that showcase the food and drink of Greater Philadelphia.

We are a full service event planning and management firm.  We help individuals and organizations create memorable experiences that focus on local beer, wine and food.  While this is our passion, our expertise extends beyond events to include strategic planning, business development, marketing/brand management and graphic design.

How do we do it?  Easy, we follow three simple rules.

LOVE LOCAL. Our focus is on the Greater Philadelphia region - in all its delicious glory.  We’re blessed to be at the center of such a gastronomically rich area, and our goal is to foster local awareness and appreciation in everything we do.

MEET PEOPLE. We’re all social animals by nature, and let’s face it, we become even more “social” when food and drink are involved.  So get off your butt!  Try new things.  Make new friends.

LEARN SOMETHING. We don’t do lectures, but collaborative learning is always important to us.  Our events boost your palette’s IQ, whether you like it or not.

cormeebRolling Barrel Events was founded in early 2007 by two childhood buddies - Corey Krejcik and Matthew Mebert. Their interest in local food, drink, and event planning fueled their desire to start a business with a similar focus. Every event they create is driven by their collective enthusiasm for supporting regional businesses, encouraging social interaction, and fostering educational awareness.

So what’s the deal with the barrel?
The rolling barrel is not just a symbol of our love for all libations aged and fermented.  It also represents our desire to create and explore new paths in the world of food and drink.  Plus, one day it will make for a really fantastic mascot costume, rivaling even the Stanford Tree.
