    Rolling Barrel crafts experiences that showcase regional food and drink.

    We are a full service event planning and management firm.  We help individuals and organizations create memorable experiences that focus on local beer, wine and food.  While this is our passion, our expertise extends beyond events to include brand management, strategic planning, business development, marketing/public relations, advertising and graphic design.

    How do we do it?  Easy, we follow three simple rules.

    LOVE LOCAL. We showcase regional food and beverage in every event we manage – and work hard to foster local awareness, pride and appreciation.

    INTERACT. We’re all social animals by nature, and let’s face it, we become even more “social” when food and drink are involved.  So get off your butt!  Try new things.  Make new friends.

    LEARN SOMETHING. Collaborative learning is always important to us.  Our events boost your palette’s IQ!

     
    Who is Rolling Barrel?
    Rolling Barrel Events was founded in early 2007 by two childhood buddies – Corey Krejcik and Matthew Mebert. Our interest in local food, drink, and event planning fueled our desire to start a business with a similar focus. Every event we create is driven by our collective enthusiasm for supporting regional businesses, encouraging social interaction, and fostering educational awareness.

    Corey Krejcik | Founder — President & Chief Executive Officer

    Corey brings a unique combination of enthusiasm, creativity, and practicality to every project – striving to make each event a direct reflection of our company’s mission.   As President & CEO,  he provides fiscal, strategic and operational leadership, but has been know to lead a tutored tasting from time to time.  His unbridaled love for artisan food and drink frequently results in roadtrips that are heavy on sampling.  Constantly seeking out the people that “do it right,” he takes great pride in all our industry partnerships.

    Corey holds a Bachelor’s Degree in International Relations from Ursinus College and a Master’s Degree in Public Administration from Villanova University. Areas of emphasis for both degrees included leadership development, strategic planning, and non-profit fundraising. He also holds an Intermediate Certificate (with Distinction) from the Wine & Spirits Education Trust (WSET).

    Matthew Mebert | Founder — Vice President, Sales & Marketing

    Matthew’s strong sales and marketing background has enabled him, as Co-Founder of Rolling Barrel Events, to facilitate partnerships and increase brand awareness. Establishing strong ties with regional breweries, wineries, restaurants, farms, and venues is paramount to our company’s mission and business model – and Matthew helps to make this happen every day.  With professional chefs on both sides of his family, Matthew developed a passion for cooking at a very young age. Having spent extensive time in the restaurant business, he has a wonderful appreciation for the social aspects of food and drink.

    Throughout his career Matthew has also been involved in a myriad of teaching, training, and development initiatives. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in History and a Certification in Secondary Education from Washington College. He is presently enrolled in Temple University’s Fox School of Business, pursuing his M.B.A. with a concentration in Marketing.
